  • Head to our partner Hope for the Future for guidance, training and resources for engaging with your local politicians and communicating the urgency of climate change.

  • Friends of the Earth will show you how to make your community more climate-friendly. Just enter your postcode to see what you can do in your area.

    If you’re part of a local group working towards action on climate and nature, join Citizens UK! They create powerful alliances of diverse local communities working together for the common good.

  • Greenpeace UK have a number of petitions running at any one time, all contributing towards a greener, healthier and more peaceful planet that can sustain life for generations to come.

    You can also head to Friends of the Earth for a range of petitions to sign, often focusing on specific UK policy changes to protect the natural world.

  • Help reduce food waste with OLIO! Download the app to connect with neighbours and local businesses so that surplus food and other household items be shared, not wasted.

  • Interested in collaboration for a healthy planet?

    If you’re part of an organisation working for the environment, join The Climate Coalition, the UK’s largest group of over 140 organisations dedicated to action against climate change.

  • From building a bug hotel to creating a garden pond, the Wildlife Trusts have lots of ideas for things you can do yourself to help local wildlife. You could also join your local Wildlife Trust!

    The RSPB has over 140 local groups across the UK. Find yours by entering your postcode and support their work to help give nature a home.

  • Have you got 2 Minutes? Pick up litter in your local area and post about it on social media using the hashtags #2minutebeachclean or #2minutelitterpick to join the movement and inspire others.

    You can also become a Beachwatch volunteer with the Marine Conservation Society and collect data to help them track pollution back to the source.
